Available 2012 Roswell Boas and Roswell/Kahl-Strain Combo Morphs

Our currently available Roswell boas and Roswell combination morphs (Albino Roswells, etc.) are shown below.  All albinos, het albinos, and possible het albinos on this page are Kahl-strain.

The genetics of the Roswell morph have not yet been completely proven, but all of the evidence points toward this being a codominant trait (or one can argue incomplete dominance just as easily), with the Roswell-Laddertails (RLTs) being the heterozygous form, and the Roswells (the fully striped ones) being the homozygous, or "super," form.

As of October 2009, there were only three Roswell boas in existence, and all three of them live right here at BoaMorph!  We will have only RLTs available and will not produce more Roswell boas until we produce and raise RLTs that have been outcrossed sufficiently to allow them to be bred back to each other or to the original adult RLTs that produced those first three Roswell boas.

These breeding trials will help to further demonstrate the genetics behind the Roswell trait, and there will be many exciting new Roswell and RLT combo morphs appearing over the next few years!
